DES MOINES, IOWA — (November 19, 2024) Des Moines International Airport (DSM) is proud to announce a record-setting milestone with the addition of two brand-new nonstop routes from Allegiant Air, starting in May 2025. These new routes bring the airport’s total number of nonstop destinations to 33, the highest ever offered by DSM, connecting passengers to 28 unique markets across the United States.

The new Allegiant routes expand DSM’s service to popular East Coast destinations, providing exciting travel opportunities for Iowa residents:

  •  Des Moines (DSM) to Jacksonville, Florida (JAX)
    o First Flight: May 22, 2025
    o Schedule: Operates twice weekly, Thursdays and Sundays
    o Promo Fare: $59 (Book by November 20, 2024)
  • Des Moines (DSM) to Boston, Massachusetts (BOS)
    o First Flight: May 23, 2025
    o Schedule: Operates twice weekly, Fridays and Mondays
    o Promo Fare: $69 (Book by November 20, 2024)

These routes provide Iowa travelers with direct access to Jacksonville, a gateway to Florida’s stunning beaches and warm weather, and Boston, a hub of history, culture, and access to New England’s iconic attractions.

These fares are available 24 hours through November 20, 2024, with a secondary promotional price of $79 for Jacksonville and $95 for Boston for 72 hours only, through November 23, 2024.
